Villagers not eating bread? [Bug or Noob]

So I think I'm in mid-game right now, and I just finished switching to wheat > flour > bread from berries. However my citizens are now not eating the bread for some reason and are getting hungry and driving down my happiness level. It was 90 a "week" ago and now its at like 26, so villagers are leaving.

I've placed market stalls all over the town (with blue tops), and set them to "bread" but people aren't buying the bread And I know I have plenty of it.

Other than that I've found this quite enjoyable.

I can't tell you why they don't buy bread, but from the commoner level they need two different kinds of food. If you only give them one then food is indicated as lacking.

Ok, that makes sense I guess. Would like to see some more food options in the future if thats the case. Now we have a choice between 1 step berry production and 3 steps for bread. Im thinking potato or corn.

there are fish and you can hunt for meat. Where the last one is not yet fully implemented

Fish is kinda pointless if you can't get to water tho.

I keep having to reset my villagers' jobs at the baker and the market. Otherwise they just stop going to get the wheat or bread and everything just cascades from there.

Did you try adding additional Market Tenders? Mines working fine.
