They have not said anything about it. I highly doubt that is something they have planned but I did think it would be cool like how you import and export from other cities not on the players map well it would be cool to trade like that with other players in real time!

i cant play singleplayer games anymore.. i always feel like im missing something, like the time i put into a singleplayer game is just wasted compared to time in multiplayer where u have fun together

Like Eldon said it would be cool to trade with other players. Or another player can't keep his people happy for a specific time and they will leave the city and become bandits, or come to my citie. 'Cause my people are always happy :)
But since it's not about war with others, I think multiplayers on 1 map is not the ideal situation.

Maybe it could be something along the lines of a generated world(similar to rim world) with various factions and nations already there, and then players can link games in order to have their cities be on the same map, that way they can trade, perhaps visit each other and hold feasts, cut deals, join alliances or factions which allow you to display their colors and banners, maybe some of them allow you to build extra structures. Such as if you court a blacksmith’s guild you can build an advanced foundry or an extra large smithy, stuff like that. All of those would be ideal ways to incorporate player interaction into the game without having them fight or be really intrusively prominent into the regular game.

Oh man I just thought of an idea going with the trading with other players. We’ve discussed before that in each play through there are going to better materials we can get access to but not all of them. Like maybe on one game you start you get heartier wood for better furniture or more flavorful grape for better mead. So instead of trading the superior mead to an NPC you can trade it to other players for a premium! But honestly it’s a great idea but I don’t see it making it into the game.

I agree with you a hundred percent! And those guilds is maybe how you do research in that specific field.

Its people like you who are slowly destroying gaming. Now they churn out multiplayer games one after the other because of demand by players like yourself. And there are so many games being released in a rapid increasing tempo, making them worse and worse. We need more quality singleplayer games. Where we can play and enjoy the games and avoid the mix of players, often toxic as ♥♥♥♥, that you meet online.

If you don't want to play singleplayer games and "feel" like you miss out. Then don't play it and play one of the million watered out mp ♥♥♥♥ that is already out there. Because you know. "its much more important to enjoy the games with your friends"

Here it says, that the developers are open to some kind of multiplayer https://ctrl-blog.de/?p=3683

I don't thik i woul'd buy the game without multiplayer.

Also for me, multiplayer would be an added value ... but only with regards to the market and the possibility of exchanging resources. In this way there would be many more possibilities of playing styles. I do not like war games, so I absolutely would not like the idea of having to defend the country. But it would still be nice to have, for those who want, the chance to war. For example, when you start the city, you decide if you want to create a profile with the possibility of war or a peaceful profile. Depending on what you choose you will have or will have no chance of being involved in wars.
