Second Village Center?
Is there a way to have a second village center in the same town? I am working coastal and have started another area far from the "village center" where my people go to socialize. I have markets and a well and a fountain which I had hoped might draw them there. They all live in the area around my new market, work in that close area and go to church in that close area but all, at one time or another, go to the "village center" to socialize. It takes some time so if I can have another "center" in the same town it would help.

No you can only have 1 village centre for now.

You can however zone residential accordingly and they will go to their new areas after they join the village by reaching the original village centre.

Also so long as they can fulfil their needs and have a job in the new location they will never go back to the original village centre

Thank you. I must have not accurately followed them. Again, can't say enough good things about the fun I'm having!

It would be awesome to have more regardless if they act like "centres" or not. Just the ability to lay down patches of road to make additional markets or sections look a little more proper.

You can place a pack of markets wherever you want and if you zone residential around them paths will be eventually created and newcomer villagers will start building houses around the new market area. You don't really need another set of small boxes to do that.

Roads will at no point in this game be user place-able, the organic development concept is what the developers have advertised as a core selling concept of the game. The only current planned feature for roads is for the most used one to upgrade to stone paved from dirt.
