Pathfinding Block?
My villagers built a house across one of my stone bridge entrance's which prevented my workers from crossing it (my fault for allowing the residential zone to be too close to the bridge). However once I realised this and destroyed the house leaving the bridge clear to cross again villagers still refuse to cross it. It appears that once a path is blocked then they will never attempt to go that way again. Has anyone else noticed this and please dev's can something be done to rectify this. Thanks

This happened most likely because the original small house was built and you added the bridge afterwards.Then the house upgraded and covered the bridge.

Houses when originally built reserve the space around them for when they will upgrade. Unfortunately atm they don't check for collisions again after that point and thus if you have built anything in the residential zone they will go on and upgrade and overlap with said other building.

Pathing issues are usually resolved by simply saving and reloading the game as the pathing map refreshes when you do that. If that doesn't fix your problem it could be that you have placed the bridge ramps too close to the shore. The only thing you can do in that case is destroy the bridge and build it a bit more in-land i.e. the ramps on the two sides should be fully in-land and slightly visible for the bridge to work.

This will be fixed soon with the building collision update. :)

Thanks for the quick reply, much appreciated. The bridge was actually there well before the house was built and villagers were using it with no trouble which means the bridge is built correctly. I will try quitting and reloading and let you know the outcome. Thanks again.

Yes thanks that worked fine and all my little people are now back to work. A couple of other things please, 1) I keep getting the message "I could not find Deer nearby - Hunter Hut" Not sure why as the woods nearby them are zoned correctly? It would actually be nice to see some deer one day so you know you are in a productive area. 2) I know that the use of leather has been discussed at length but why does it show that a trader will buy it if they don't? These are not negative comments just questions as I really enjoy this game and hope that it continues to progress to become one of the best. Thanks

1) I can't be 100% sure but I suspect your hunting zone is too small. Do you maybe have multiple hunting huts around the same forest?

2) The trader will buy it but only a few pieces at a time, can't remember the exact amount but if you see the trader coming you can click on him and you will see how much he wants. Traders come approximately once per week. So if you produce more than he can buy it will keep pilling up.

First of all make sure the trade for leather is set up correctly. i.e.:
- Leather in warehouse
- Trading route that buys leather unlocked
- Trading window set to sell all above 0
- Trader able to reach the village in case he comes from across the river

Thanks and yes all the four criteria that you mentioned for leather trade are set ok so I'll try and locate the actual trader sometime.
You could be correct regarding too many hunters in one area as the only way to get enough meat is to have a load of hunters (20 so far in current game). I will knock some out and hopefully the constant error messages will cease. Cheers

oh wow that is a lot of hunters :O

I personally don't think they are really worth it atm as they have a huge upkeep cost and the production can very easily get clogged up by the leather production.

btw the trader amount for buying leather is definitely not high enough to keep up with 20 huts. Traders normally buy and sell something between 10 and 50 of each resource in every visit.
