Year One Pass content

Does anyone know - is it safe to buy Year One Pass (all 4 seasons)? I'm asking because the pass page in Steam says that only Deluxe 2.0 is included in it (season 3 and 4). I don't want to buy DLC that costs more but doesn't have the promised content.

Yeah idk where seasons 1 and 2 are, if they've been included in the base game since or whatever, but the GOTY edition gives you everything, no missing content.

I assume if I just buy the base game now to try it out, then like it and buy GOTY later the base price will be deducted.

Nah, the price stays full. Btw i dought year one pass and it's fine - gives full game content

I checked, looks like Year One Pass is not offered in Steam. Disappointed too that Steam does not reduce the price of a package if you have parts already, they do that for many other titles. When did you buy it from them?

Because it's a game edition, not a bundle.
Year One pass most likely doesn't exist anymore or is included in the pack as well, all the content is here anyway. There is no missing content when you buy the GOTY edition with seasons 3-4 content.

Thx for the clarification. I had to upgrade from a (flakey) Logitech G29 to a Thrustmaster T248, and thought I'd try rally driving. Slowly, to start. I've been playing truck sim and farm sim for a long time, and do have many decades driving cars IRL so this might be fun. Wheel was $450 so the GOTY package seems not that bad a deal in comparison.
