It could be a bit more.
As far as time trials go, it depends largely on vehicle class and dry or wet.
If you think of dry tracks with R5 cars, 300-500 would be seriously quick.
Take a wet track with H1 class and it would be rather slow.
That's simply because the fastest classes are much more popular than the others, and dry tracks are also preferred. So you logically have a lot more people driving those.
And of course some stages or locations are also more popular than others.
The aliens obviously always use everything that is possible (at least 1-2 of them) so that exact comparison times come out.
In the beginning I was always 1 minute behind them on a short stage, now I'm 20-40 seconds behind them depending on the route.
But you have to bear in mind that 10th place is often already 10 seconds behind.
So 20 seconds less is usually enough for tier 1.
P.S.
300-500 is very good in time trials, you can see it with the slider on the right how high up you are.
But in terms of time trials, some stages were used in Esports events over Covid, so you will be very far down, I can do so,me stages I know well in certain cars and be 3000th! It is easy to trim a few seconds and move up to 1600th!!
But in the main you will have to work hard in most cars to get into the top 100, and in every class there is a God tier car usually.
30s to the top time on a short stage is usually decent.
20s is good.
>20s is very good.
If the top time is several seconds ahead of 2nd, then it can be ignored as it is most likely a cheater.
Do the Daily Delta to get an idea of where the average is.
Thanks. My daily sucks at the moment, but I’ll literally need to learn every track and every car like the back of my hand in order to be good at dailies so I’m not sweating that just yet.
And yeah if I see first place guy is 30 seconds ahead then clearly he’s cheating lmao.
Explains why EA WRC has half the numbers despite being A more complete Rally game. Why I will never play a FPS again in fun.
Do you mean WRC has more cheating?
