noob questions
Hey just got a few questions after trying this game
1 - is there a way to see WHY I got a penalty? I just did the first race and got a 10 second penalty for??? no idea https://i.imgur.com/ZKvLvoz.jpeg nothing shown on the laps tab either, just generic times, is there like a sub-menu I missed or something? How am I supposed to know what not to do in the future?

2 - is non-working subtitles a known bug or something? the guy is telling me something and for the life of me I cannot understand his accent while also trying to take in all the other info of simply trying to learn the game he's yapping away, would have better luck trying to get Boomhauer from King of the Hill trying to explain something.

3 - is there a way to adjust camera location in a *precise* manner? this giant euro hatchback car is just uncomfortable to look at for me with the chase cam, I just want to raise the camera up a bit and tilt it down a bit but not sure if thats even possible.

Penalties are shown when they occur mid-race though as far as I know you only get them for physically resetting your car, be it from a fall or running into spectators. Changing a flat tire also incurs a 30 second penalty. That 10-second penalty is most likely from burning the start, you left before he said Go.

If you can't understand your co-driver I suggest activating the pacenotes in the HUD, they will give you visual indications identical to what he's saying.

No adjustable camera as far as I know and to each their own I guess, but I would still strongly recommend using the interior/hood cam for better forward visibility.

Thanks, I didn't know there were spectators or that it was even possible to jump the start, I held the gas and it was physically impossible for me to go until the lights turned green

I don't see pacenotes? everything in the OSD menu is set to on, and all else I could find was just the standard subtitles that I had on from before
