Only console versions have hdr.
There's hdr related stuff in files but changing those might do nothing. Except on vr they do and make vr experience better if altered/turned off (otherwise vr image remains too dark)
Next game EA Sports WRC seems to have HDR also on PC.
edit: based on comment below idk now. Maybe there's then.
I'm on win 10 so if win 11 has some auto hdr maybe it can work in this game
Ah so Windows 11 supports AutoHDR on this Dirt Rally 2 game now? It was unsupported before.
WRC 8 is listed as having autoHDR support and I can confirm that has autoHDR support as I've used that.
Failing that, perhaps you can rename the exe file and force autoHDR support like I've heard some others have done.
dirtrally2.exe produces no AutoHDR - that means not supported.
Whereas Flower.exe or MuseDash.exe produces AutoHDR.
As for whether it actually works I can't really tell… the game seems brighter, the blacks seem deeper, but this could be subjective. Still, I'll keep playing like this, since it makes me feel that getting an HDR monitor wasn't a waste of money :)
