No inputs assigned for PS5 controller

I have it plugged in via USB, it works in every other game perfectly, but this game doesnt seem to detect it and not a single input is assinged for any button

Try launching big picture mode in Steam and making sure controller configuration is set to DS5 and then see if the game recognises inputs.

Huh, barely ever used Big Picture yet, its pretty cool.
Now what I dont understand tho is DS5? Is it a typo maybe?
I did find a bunch of other controls schemes, one is ought to work I guess

Alright figured it out: you have to go into Big Picture mode and then there you have to select some control scheme when you press on the game.
