Question about Richard Burns Rally
I wanted to try Richard Burns Rally and compare it to Dirt Rally 2.0 (original, I know), but I apparently have to use a torrent service. Can the Rally Sim Fans community be trusted and do I have to use a VPN when downloading their files?

torrent isn't needed
I think I have a copy in the cloud......get back to me while I go check

It is on another level or two from DR2.0

Could I not just install it from RSRBR?

Which is the safest source? I feel a bit cautious about this.

The only reason it's been changed to a torrent download is the amount of bandwidth the site has been using for people to download the files. It became untenable to continue to use the website hosting for download. So the torrent version now exists. RSF (RallySimFans) is not RSRBR, so you will be downloading and playing a different mod if you go that route. It's been widely accepted lately (as far as I am aware) that the RSF mod is the most updated and content rich version of RBR mod available today. There is a very active Discord server and new rallies are always available to compete in online, if you wish. I'd highly recommend using the torrent to download and once you have the base game/mod installed, further updates are then done through the update .exe that is available to download from the website.

Makes sense. Do I need to use a VPN to be safe?
