Manual H pattern or Manual H pattern with clutch . ?
(for some reason only on consoles shifter is supported through wheelbase in both modes+handbrake-mode, only sequential mode works through the wheelbase on pc but not h-pattern mode and idk about handbrake-mode)
But if u have shifter connected to pc via usb and it's still not working then:
- try another usb port, maybe 2.0-port if u have one of those (or usb 3.0 port if it's in a 2.0-por,t or just another usb port), most likely issues isn't here
- check drivers for shifter
Everything else seems to be fine
- u can see shifter as an input device in game and u have entered it and assigned gears for shifter,
- u have selected transmission-type to Manual H-pattern or Manual H-pattern with clutch (no sequential) forcing all cars to use H-pattern
it is connected through pc usb, not on wheel basae.
Test all the cars in time trial just to se h-pattern works in some.
Verify game files if nothing seems to help and all settings etc are set correctly.
edit: do you have a clutch pedal? if not u have to use Manual H-pattern mode (the one without clutch).
Can u get first gear on? or are missing the gears and u have clutch-pedal then put clutch saturation down to 50% so u miss less gears (then clutch pedal only needs to be pressed halfway and u can move stick, on 100% saturation clutch has to fully pressed before u can move stick which leads many misses).
thanks buddy, its solved. i knew i was doing something stupid. the thing is i was using sequential gear in a H pattern car. i didnt know it needed to be H pattren shifter if am driving an H pattern car, cause before this i was playing Beamng. In Beamng you dont need to swap out gear shifter, anything was ok. thanks for all the help guys.
Or if u select Manual H-pattern with/without clutch and Manual Sequential game will then use paddle shifters for sequential cars (disables h-pattern in those car), modern rally cars have been sequential (stick/paddles) since late 1990s.
