Demo?

I bought game it says it is in my library and it is game of the year edition. but all the time i hear some music and says dirt rally 2.0 out now, redit e for everyone etc. even the music at 0 level i hear them time to time. like every minute or so. what should i do to turn off? the game shown like it is demo. im just confused.

sorry I don't fully understand what u are asking about, but u can't fully turn off audio as far as I am aware.

about demo, I don't think there is a demo for the game, the game is around 100gb big, so as far as u donwloaded that much u should have the full game, if u encounter any problems maybe re-download it again, for me I never had any problems with the game aside from the audio that u can't fully mute unfortunately.

This post and your other VR related one - Simply points towards that you have background tasks / TSRs ( Terminate and stay resident) programs that are effectively interfering / hijacking your open windows .

Advice wise, it would be prudent to do a bit of house cleaning of your OS & software that auto starts and sits in the background on the off chance you may need it.

it is like a benchmark like when u download a song every 5 seconds u hear "audio jungle" hope that make sense :) first day i didnt have any issue later on all the time like 20 secs i hear that same things.

sadly no. i thought same but no. it starts with the game and it stops with the game. i have no issues in any other game

Just tried playing and I have the same issue. Game starts loading, and in the background the introduction trailer is playing, very annoying.

If you dont wish to turn of autoplay
Then either disable steam overlay for the game entirely or delete the data steam overlay now collects when you have a game active. ( on a per game basis)
Steam changed what Steam overlay does for its new UI update.

Edit so the assumption is thats what is causing it.

To turn off the 'rated e for everyone stuff' & the random intro music. Go to volume mixer and turn the 'Steam Client WebHelper' down to 0. Hope it helps.
