Using a suitable text editor like Notepad++ open the XML document "device_defines"

Steamapps->Common->Dirt Rally 2.0 -> input ->Devices

The instructions show you how to make a device definition id so your wheel is visible in game.

You basically need the wheels VID & PID numbers and inset them into a format just like the list of other wheels.

found a solution, dirt doesnt recognize the input properly, you just gonna assign Left and right manually. even if one will be LEFT and the other XAXIS itll still work no problem.

this actually helped me, took me a while to find VID/PID values in device manager but after I did add the line with moza to this file the forcefeedback finally went live :)

Does this game have the stupid "press enter or start button" screen when you launch the game? If yes, can you pass this screen successfully by pressing some button on Moza steering wheel, so you don't need set up everything over and over again like you have to in Dirt 4?

you can use the keyboard it does not have that problem

It works for me by turning the wheel over the point where it detects left/right (so quite far near the maximum turning point), then pressing assign and turning the wheel a bit left and right until it detects the axis. Try that a few times until you get it. Never worked for me from the wheel center position.
