-Running it outside of Oculus VR will have poorer performance
-Applying custom Nvidia settings to the game (eg AF in nvidia only, disable in game) - There are guides you can find
-Following the VR settings guide here in the community

The haze is not completely gone, but it's toned down to a much, much more realistic levels for a clear, sunny day in the forest.
1) Open your Dirt Rally 2.0 folder
2) Extract (unzip) all the files in the eyefix to that folder. Done
Most mods are installed this way. Find the readme, it tells you where to unzip
thats the thing, it's not zipped, it's a download, not that it makes any difference, once downloaded there are 3 files one of which is the readme file. I can drag and copy it to the Dirt 2.0 game folder but it just ends up sitting amongst the other files that make up the game, doesn't do anything, had no trouble in original Dirt, sound mods, livery mods etc drop them in get the message to replace existing file bingo job done, but for some reason every mod like liveries and other legal mods just drop into the game folder and sit there without incorporating into the game
I, and Voodoo have both installed this and can see it working. There's nothing more than that when running in VR
If running 2D, the author suggests to disable at least the accomodation area override setting to overrideArea=0 in the config. Thats, the file dr2vrfix.config - Line 8
I have also adjusted some other parameters in my config file in order to increase the LOD of grass, trees and road details like gravel and ruts.
If you want to try this you can find this file: "hardware_settings_config" which should be here: C:\Users\(your PC user)\Documents\My Games\DiRT Rally 2.0\hardwaresettings
Make a back-up of this settings file just in case and increase these values IF you have already maxed them in the game and you think it's not good enough:
<ground_cover clutter="true" enabled="true" lodScaling="1.5" />
<objects lod="1.5" maxlod="0" stones="true" />
<trees lod="1.5" maxlod="0" meshes="true" />
<vehicles characterQuality="4" lodQuality="3" textureQuality="3" />
<track lod="2.5" />
These above are mine and they are pretty high but I don't run the game in VR and I run the game only at 75 FPS (my monitor cap).
