How do you unlock all cars?

Okay so I have the game version with all DLC and I was wondering how do I unlock all cars to be available for purchase? For example in Group B (4WD) I only have the Audi Sport Quatro. There are four more cars in this category in Freeplay. When I go to the garage, purchase vehicles, there's nothing but a used Audi in this category.

you wait (real-world hours) until the store changes around it's inventory. It has a countdown-timer presented on the screen to let you know when.

And as you correctly noticed, this quirk is not a thing anywhere else but in "my team" mode.

Just one more question. Is there a downside to buying used? (apart from the ocasssional repair cost)

I didn't see any, older cars are avaliable only as used

Used cars don't come with zeroed out stats. Distance driven, podium finishes, that kind of stuff. So in a car you bought new, you will have a true record of those stats regarding your usage. In a car you bought used, your usage is only being added on to the random fake stats that car already had when you bought it.

It's not much of a muchness since these stats only work in My Team anyway (so anything you do elsewhere in the game is ignored). But it is a bit annoying that they provide stats tracking in the first place, but then provide no way to get it properly on many cars.
