HP Reverb G2 Support support + Steering wheel recommendation
Does it support it ? I just got a Reverb G2 and my only other VR experience was a Rift CV1 so the resolution upgrade is simply amazing (among other vast improvements). I also want to buy a low-mid range steering wheel and pedal setup for this, what do you recommend ?

Logitech G29. Some will say its not a great wheel, but for the money it has the beast pedal set included with the wheel. If you shop around you can find the H shifter bundled in as well for £200. I currently use the paddle shifters and the H shifter as a handbrake modified with hair bands, it works really well. The FFB is fairly decent, leather on the wheel, shifter lights. It has a lot to offer for the money. This game also shows the correct button prompts for this wheel. I would also recommend the wheel stand pro or similar as desk mounting is a bit of a compromise. If you are prepared to spend £250-300 more than that the options are plenty. Good luck I hope you find a wheel you like.
as Matt has outlined above: it is hard to beat the Logitech G29 for the money. Depending on how deep your fascination lies with the genre, a T300 can offer slightly more responsiveness for a slightly higher price and more variety in wheel-shapes and sizes. But I would only go that route if you were already O.K. with spending another ~200 for a set of pedals with a load-cell - based brake-pedal (Fanatec CSL-elite pedals + load-cell / Thrustmaster LCM).

Those are the 2 most cost-efficient points of entry. You want more, you spend more. But you will also get more. If you want total immersion - and are willing to pay for it - the sky is the limit. But somewhere between a Logitech G-series and a Fanatec CSL-wheel is the sweet-spot where true skill-seekers / "aliens" will top out in terms of ROI.

did you play the game from the Oculus SDK when you were using the Rift? Now you have the G2 (which I'm considering upgrading from Rift S) do you have to play through Steam VR instead? I hated the Steam VR version of the game before the Oculus version was released and really don't want to have to go back to using it if I get a G2
