I'm not on Oculus, but everything is 2d except the races (Menus, animation before the race, replays, everything is 2d but the driving itself). And VR controllers don't seem to be supported, I use my keyboard for menus. And my wheel for driving obviously.

Not every game supports the motion controllers or does a fully 3D interface. You will find this on most games were the VR is a add-on.

Hi,
same issue for me. Neither once the game starts, there is absolutly no input: neither oculus move, nor keyboard, nor gamepad recognized by steam work. I tried these 3 differents controllers and I cannot pass welcome screen

Did anyone figure this out? I heard it's some issue with which "controller" it sees as default first. Bought this for VR. D'oh.
have you got oculus or steam versionm of the game .
try running in steam vr mode with oculus program openend first also type -vrseatef in the launch options

Start Steam VR then DR2. Do not start it directly from VD, it will not recognize your driving wheel.

I find that when I start the game, it asks me whether I want to run the Oculus or Steam VR. Choose Oculus and as mentioned everything is on a large display, but not full VR until you're actually ready to race.

I use my wheel for steering and xbox controller for selecting from the menus. You can configure the wheel to do everything but it's a bit fiddly.

I don't know why it was so hard to find an answer. ANSWER (IMO): Use Virtual Desktop to get to your Desktop. Load Steam and then Steam VR. Once in SteamVR go back to the Desktop (Double click the Oculus button on your left touch controller). Click Play on the game and choose play in SteamVR. Double click the Oculus button back to VR. All game selections will look like you are in 2D, will be overly bright, and you need to use the keyboard to select everything, but once you are in a race, it's 3DVR. (Note: I've only gotten it to work in SteamVR, and it's fine for me, but some say the Oculus native way is better. I just don't need it...)
