your brain needs to start correlating what your seeing but without g-forces and inertia etc
it takes time
Turn off all screen information (OSD) and co-driver. Drive so slow that you are 100%
sure you will not crash. As you get more and more confident, you will also become faster.
If you keep crashing, your muscle memory is mostly learning to crash, so
most important thing: Don't crash...
Also: Adjust gears so you have close to max RPM though the turns, that will help
you keep the car stable with the throttle. Be careful with the throttle. Do not slam it in.
Finish braking before you turn, and accelerate through the turn. If you have to brake
in the turn, you had too high speed in. Fastest possible speed out of a turn is the
fastest way to drive.
Good luck!
Take the advice above and below your post then ;-)
I did but i still crash.
How to drift like the youtube videos drift? I dont get it
Traction Control On/Off When on, traction control provides more grip on loose surfaces
anthother qns do i turn on this 2 settings?
H1 is "Historical 1", slowest cars in the game. H2 FWD is a bit more fun but still pretty safe.
RWD cars require a lot of throttle control, I'd say don't touch those untill you get in grips with basic driving. H2 RWD are so-so, H3 RWD are quite challenging, especially ones with turbo, and Group B RWD is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ death machines.
AWD cars as mentioned above are easier to drive, but can sometimes be quirky. Skip Group B and go for more modern ones.
It may sound that those are there to help you, but in reality they'll hinder you understand car natural behaviour.
Disable both, you can leave ABS on 2/5 tho, just for extra safety.
Depends on drivetrain type.
On FWD you let off the throttle or brake to unload rear axle, on RWD its the opposite - apply gas to break rear traction and countersteer. You have to be smooth with your steering and brake/throttle inputs in both cases.
Couldn’t say it better, think it is one of the most important things to learn to drive and come over the time to an good virtual rally driver to put from the start of learning all this ‚helps‘ to off!!!
I'm quite stunned you can't get around a corner without crashing though as all you have to do is not go so fast. This is some advice you clearly didn't follow.
