Acting on the theory that my wheel might be overheating, I did go into FFB settings and reduced everything by about 10% relative to what I had it set to previously. Importantly, I made sure that no setting was >90. I only raced a handful of stages after making that change, but for the first time in s couple days I was able to get through more than a stage or two without my wheel crapping out.
Today im using the Clubsport 2.5 with V3 pedals and its a step up from CSL given the build quality and adjustability on the pedals and the fact that they are using magnetic sensors (LC on the brake) rather than potentiometers - Its really the deal breaker in my opinion.
I would recommend you to get the V3 pedals every day of the week, but when it comes to the CSL or Clubsport 2.5 wheel base it really depends on how much you wanna spend. For example you could go with V3 pedals, CSL 1.1 base with the WRC Elite wheel or if the budget isnt an issue go with V3, Clubsport 2.5 wheel base and Clubsport wheel rim (with the universal HUB) or even the WRC Elite wheel rim.
And yes, with the V3s you will feel a rumble effect on the brake pedal when the wheels are locking up for example (in DR2).
