Easiest and Hardest car
Which car you think is the easiest and hardest to drive?

Personally:
Easiest FWD - Mini
Perfect car for beginners. Powerful enough and perfect for learning first basics.
Hardest FWD - Peugeot 205 - Once you master, it's one of the funniest cars. Going maximum attack with this thing is pure fun, especially on gravel stages with soft tyres. 205s biggest problem is its suspension. It's very stiff, so it doesn't like bumps.

Easiest RWDs -
1. Abarth 131 - Perfect car for beginners with RWD.
2. Lancia Stratos
Everyone will laugh at me now and wonder how can a Stratos be easier for me than a Opel Manta or Alpine A110.
Well, I was very worried when I was picking it. I expected tonnes of spins and crashes.
It showed to be the opposite. With correct throttle and gear control, I was able to drive this thing almost like the Abarth. It's very quick and unstable, especially when hitting bumps or going flatout. If you can control the throttle and gears, this thing is a bullet.
Other easy RWDs - Opel Ascona and Alpine A110.
Hardest RWDs
1. Lancia 037 - No explanation needed. It's the total opposite for me, compared to the Stratos. No matter how carefully I drive with this thing, it still wants to bite. Stick wrong tyres and combine them with wet tarmac and you have a perfect recipe for a undrivable car. Every push of throttle is a lottery, if you will spin or not.
2. Ford Escort MK2 - When I picked it, I was expecting it to be reasonably easy to drive, despite its low weight and decent power. It's alright on tarmac, but it's very twitchy on gravel where it loves to spin, even if you drive carefully.
3. Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth - Why I put Sierra here?
1. It's long and fat, which means it's quite problematic in narrow sectors.
2. Steering feels slow
3. Massive turbo lag.

Easiest AWD: Audi Quattro S1(perfectly balanced) and all other AWD cars, except some Group B cars.
Hardest AWD - Peugeot 205 T16 - This thing is an insanity. It doesn't like bumps, it has huuuge turbo boost and is very scary when accelerating. Going flatout with it is almost suicide. Once you learn how to drive, it's a missile which is impossible to stop. However, it takes alot time to master it.

Beginners should absolutely NOT pick the 205 T16.

For me personally there are some things switched with my experience on keyboard controls. The Stratos and 037 both feel quite similar (medium), since their acceleration speed and relative sensitivity mean revving continuously or mashing controls isn't really needed. The sierra I personally think should be a beginner's car, since the easiest RWD cars to start with are the ones that don't immediately kill you with one step of the gas. The car's heavy weight and turbo lag mean that you can rev it on corners without much issue, and after the turbo kicks in it's pretty zippy. The A110 I feel is harder than something like the Kadett, because its soft suspension and light weight make it feel unnecessarily sensitive, though it definitely isn't the hardest car to drive.

I always felt (as a keyboard player) that the A110 was the easiest RWD car. Stratos never wants to go in a straight line, on gravel it's an absolute nightmare for me. 037 on the other hand was a lot nicer to drive.
In general, I would say the R2 class is the easiest class to drive overall. Not that much power, but nicely balanced and good suspension. Just nice to drive.
And in terms of AWD cars, I would chose the 208 R5 as the easiest.

Hardest? Hmm for RWD cars it might me the BMW M1.
FWD? Don't know.
AWD? Pretty much all Group B cars.
