This Game Isn't Multiplayer / False Advertising

What a joke, I don't even get a ghost of my friends, we just compare times after racing against AI? Saying this game has a multiplayer mode is false advertising man. My friend and I have been trying all morning to where it's us + some AIs racing against each other in the same "heat", or just in a single match without heats against each other. We're just trying to play against each other, something like every other racing game worth it's salt has!

Cmon devs, I believe the bones are there, this can be easily fixed! I left the game open and ran over the 2 hour limit due to inactivity, or else I would refund it on principal. What a robbery!

In this thread we race our friends' ghosts in offline Time Trial.
In the game's online rally and RX modes you can turn off AI.
In the online RX modes you race directly against any player.

You can race against other people directly. I have done it multiple times.

From the Championships Settings tab, while setting up a multiplayer game, you can access the Championships Settings menu from the bottom of the screen. This new menu has 2 tabs! Don't forget to go over to the other tab (I think it's called Multiplayer Settings), where you can adjust other settings.

Somewhere in those is an option to allow you to disable AI times. You still won't see other players during a rally stage, but disabling AI should allow you to race directly against other players without AI cars being present.

And as the other guy said, you can enable Ghosts in the game options to see the ghosts of your friends in Time Trial mode.
