Cant connect to Racenet

What is the issue? I cant play career mode...

Always getting error code when signing in. I believe last time they said it was a security update on the server.......but didnt think to advise players of this. They did offer solution quite quickly once they saw the problem though. lets hope they do again

OMG WOW. VERY WORRYING. I just tried again and after a delay... a message appeared saying i had been BANNED from raceNet????? ERm..WHY. NEVER Cheated(dont see the point) and have a genuine copy with all DLC from Steam? I do hope this WAS a problem with the server otherwise i'm very interested as to WHY this frightening msg has appeared??? tried again after a while and dont get the banned msg but still DO get the error code. Hope thats all.

Had the game from the start and got ALL DLC. LOVE the game,and USUALLY do challenges EVERY day coz of the variety. But NOT the server side of it. A PAIN! Really dont understand why i would get the Banned msg, so i'm just hoping its because of the problem with the server. And they will correct it as fast as they have before.

I'm getting the "Banned from Racenet" message as well, must be an error.

Really bad error message to tell paying customers when there's just an issue with the server. Hopefully it's resolved soon.

Why do we need to connect to Racenet to play the singleplayer career mode?

my issue is with the ms win 7 hotfix . it worked yesterday .
ffs why cant we just play without racenet ?? its crap and 90% of the time racenet is broken , yet they do nothing to fix other than to tell end users its our problem.....

hell they even post about this 58 58 error code so they do know about it , but wont just fix the game . just give us 20 gig updates for a dlc they rls

maybe they afraid to add a 600kb fix to the base game .. its not like its 600 gb .... utter rubbish

Yet again - last weekend Racenet was offline for 48h, the entire weekend: seriously, look around here on Steam.

I'm done. At the end of the day, just wanted to do a run for 45m or so and, AGAIN, Racenet is down. This is unbeliable.

I really didn't want to, because the gameplay and physics is amazing, but I'm asking for a refund - I'm well past the 2h cut-off period now (bought the game 3 weeks ago) but I'll try. After all, who cares if it's a great game if you can't play it? I gave them the benefit of doubt last time but this is just too much.

Wtf... I checked it like 2 or 3 hours ago and it was broken, and it is still broken!

Its prime time and the server is getting slammed with new accounts from PS4. That combined with a global "lockdown", and you have this.
