Cars easier to drive after update!!
I have driven almost 100 hours in skoda wrc before update. Now after the patch 1.2 it is much more easier to drive and has more grip. I win rallyes in masters quite easy now. After quick test r5 cars are also now easier to drive. Cars feel now more arcade... in the patch notes was no mention related to physics. Maybe something that was fixed in the patch broke something?

My thought is... the last patch notes were too short to be taken «seriously», doesn’t it !?

Yesterday, I wanted to take time to observe which files were updated in the folders but... I gave up.

Yes it is easier to drive and I love it! I hate frustrating games, thank you Codemasters! Now Add unlimited restarts in carrer Mode and Steam Workshop and We are happy :D

I saw people complaining about this on the Codemaster forum, while others said they don't feel a difference. (I haven't played since the weekend, so can't comment myself)

Which platform are you on? PS4, XBox, PC?
From what I gathered from the discussion on the Codemaster forums, it looked like it might be related to the platform, nobody playing on PC or XBox complained, so it might be only PS4 is affected.

Edit: Oh, as you are posting here in the Steam forums, I guess you play on PC. So my theory probably does not hold any water.

I always find the Skoda easier to drive. I did not feel any difference after the patch.

Btw... The Skoda is my favorite in drivability =D

Yes, I'm on pc. Before the update, when driving on the limit of my skils, I was enjoying every stage I drive. Now it's just... Meh... yes skoda is quite stable car to drive. But now it has more grip. Try tarmac stages in rain. Now you can use handbrake without fear to loose your car and crash.

Cars are rolling over easier now. I touched the side of the road and rolled over; Never happened before.

100 hours here to date also. I was only able to test briefly after patch yesterday. I do believe I noticed more grip and my lap times seem to be faster. However, I did not think it felt terribly different physics wise but just that it had more grip... it still feels sim like... I do need more driving time on it though

Same here. Prefer it to Citroen for that reason.

There is no "We are happy", you are the extreme minority, quite possibly a minority of one. If CM wants to lose the rest of their player base, making the game easier is the way to do it.

Edit: Obviously not referring to Steam workshop.

Haven t noticed that, but I noticed a new, annoying sound on wet tarmac when sliding. This has also not been mentioned in the changelog.

Been driving the Sierra before and after the update, feels exactly the same.

I drove the h2 2wd and felt no difference ... Then drove the Mustang and also felt no difference . Other than I’m now #3 on Poland track (errr name ?)
But I got angry from spinning out so I opened the diff on the h2 and felt a million times easier to drive .
