Sorry for quality.
You dont need youtube video proof to make sure the leaderboard didnt shortcuts. Use the WR ghost. You will be able to follow and see where does he cuts and if he shortcuts.
Well, how are you going to check my Ghost if you are 10 seconds behind? ;)

This was my 3rd run. 1st I beat you by 1.1 second, 2nd run I bent a pole.
Enjoy...
Edit:
It may take some time for YouTube to process the video...
Im pretty sure you play with some assist on and you dont use inside camera to do those WR. I dont need to prove im the best to know im good.
Eagleizer, you at least have my respect and I see you as the benchmark. I'd be interested to see your Grp B time through Waimarama point forward in the dry with no big cuts to see how far I am off you.
Also happy to share car setups to see how we differ in that area.
I already said i only challenge myself you cant bother to read. You think i want to competewhen i just wanted to show you i did WR with no shortcuts. You need to beat it to prove a point? When the point is shortcuts. Stick in your dream world. I know you could beat my time im not ignorant. Nice to see there no age for dissonance cognitive.
You always say that you dont cheat but exploit is a form of cheat. Wtv you say.
Mate I'm a hotlapper through and through, don't even bother with career and while in my 50's I can assure you I'm not looking at the scenery when driving.
In my mind when competing for stage times the only rules that apply are the ones coded into the game.I'm pretty sure I copped a 10 second penalty for cutting though may have jumped the start.
Anyway your fast and I apologize for the grief.
tunaphis.
LOL.. yeah, I'm 54 and definitely not looking at the scenery .. But not as fast as him either, so maybe I should give up and start smelling the roses... :D
I find that he was very open about it actually. He even posted his videos that show the cuts. If he hadn't, I never would have known because his ghost usually sailed off into the distance after a while hehe.
Thanks buddy!
Here you go. No shortcuts ;)
I have only driven New Zealand and New England so far, ( and 1 stage in
Argentina) so I don't really have time to spend in New Zealand again yet ;)
Just finished New England, so I had planned to try Australia or Poland this
weekend. :) It's like getting a new DLC Haven't even looked at it. :D
I also find NZ a bit boring. Something with the surface. Like it's too even or
something. And most turns seems to be made to make the cars easier to
slide, as they have no camber, or even bad camber. Except for the shortcuts
of course :D Not that it's any better in New England.. :p
So, I only had 4 runs to set up the car and get used to the surface, so the setup
could be better. I'm almost flipping over a couple of times, so you have to be
careful in some of the semi fast turns. I usually don't add anti-roll as a first
choice to get rid of such problems, but I did that this time. I prefer to play with
springs and ride hight. But maybe there's no way around it.
Normally, I would do the short stages first so I get the setup more balanced.
This setup is not so good in the short turns in the woods, but it is pretty stable
and easy to drive. With a perfect setup and some more practice, I'm pretty sure
5 seconds faster is possible.
There is also something wrong with this car. It looses power when sliding at low
speed, below 4-4500 RPM. It is not Turbo lag, but something completely wrong
with the power physics. A car that light and with so much power would not die
down under full throttle when already sliding on gravel... :p
So, you might want to shorten the 1st a bit. 3-5 clicks. More if you're not using
clutch to kick up the RPM. It is also a bit bouncy, so maybe play a bit with spring
and damping to get more power into the ground at high speed. 1 tick at the time
though.
I think when I go to NZ to do all the stages in Group B, I'll lower it a bit first so
it would not flip. Try the setup first, but if you lower it, do that before you start
adjusting dampers and springs.
I went on the grass at 3:41, it was a mistake caused by loss of power as I was
planning to slide sideways before turning, but didn't, not an intentional cut. ;) lol

Setup at the end + Soft tires...
Cheers :)
