Wheel advise? I have a t150, want to upgrade
Anyone ever upgrade from the t150 to the t300 or the ts pc wheel? I may get the Ferrari 599XX EVO 30 Wheel Add On Alcantara Edition for a Rim.
I think I want to stay with thrustmaster? Im not that good but really like driving games and want something better than the t150. I have T3PA Pro, TH8 RS, Fanatec handbrake.
Is there a big difference in feel? I have seen lots of reviews but would like to here from gamers.

went from t300 to ts-pc wheel and that was a nice upgrade so going from t150 to ts-pc should be a huge difference and well worth it, also have the 599XX wheel also very nice:steamhappy:

So I have the t300 and am pretty happy with it. What differences did you notice with the ts-pc that made it a better purchase. I was going to save and go straight to accuforce, but maybe I will reconsider.

I'll sell you my outgoing TS-PC Racer. Lol

It's a great wheel. It's almost on par with Fanatec's offering. Almost.

I have a Fanatec DD2 Pre-ordered. If you really like wheel driving and have a lot of games and primarily play race games.

You can't go wrong with a Fanatec Wheel base. Thrustmaster support is...... Ummmm.... Yea. Fanatec, as of recently, is very good.

Thrustmaster should be pretty good, as long as you don't plan on ever ditching the Windows platform. Only known issue:
on T300 and Tx wheels, better turn the fan into always-on mode. The built-in power-supply on those is known to overheat and fail on units that are "driven hard" with the default "semi-active" fan-profile.

If you do plan on leaving Windows, better chose either Fanatec or Logitech.

Thats why I like the TS-PC Racer. Fan always runs and has a cool down cycle after you stop. Also a more efficient power supply. Not as coggy as the lower models, more rotation, decent holding power, and a decent selection of wheels.

If Thrustmaster is your staple, OP. I'd recommend the TS-PC. Keep an eye on Amazon. I picked mine up for 399$ a while back.

In any case, I'd recommend buying a pillow case to cover your base and other peripherals when not in use. I cover everything to keep dust intake at a minimum.

so should i consider a fanatec CSL Elite Racing Wheel? I could get the pc xbox version(389.00) as its almost 100.00 cheaper than the ps4 version, im pretty sure it will always stay on my pc.

My opinion, yes. It's basically on par with a TS-PC, but better FFB, and a better company backing thier product.

Thrustmaster makes a ton of peripherals from Flight Controls, headphones, wheels, etc. Fanatec specializes in only Sim racing equipment, so thier products will be more polished for racing.

If you can afford it, you most-certainly should. Pitch it against a "TS-PC Racer" (or: TS-XW, ... // those are essentially identical twins) with a rally-inspired rim (There are different packages available, so compare diligently) to arrive at a fair, on-par comparison.

Again: Thrustmaster does not care about GNU/Linux users. They do not provide a kernel-driver nor the necessary public interface specifications for the community to make one. Their wheels are "paper-weights" outside of the Windows OS. They do however sell for a slightly lower price compared to similarly-powered Fanatec.

As far as performance: I am a reasonably happy user of a Thrustmaster T300 "Ferrari Integral" package (comes with the 599gtb replica rim with 30cm of diameter in the box). Probably getting a set of Fanatec csl LC pedals, soon as I have been putting off adopting a load-cell brake for the longest time.

as I went from a G25 to a T300, I can assure you, it is a sizeable upgrade in holding-force, responsiveness (how quick it can turn and change direction of rotation) as well as smoothness.
As an avid Linux user, in today's market I would save a few more pennies and go Fanatec CSL-elite. But that was not out yet when I felt the need to replace my aging G25.

ok, I have Windows so T300 is fine for me. Right now I have G25. So go to T300 is next step I Think.

You will probably be very pleased with it. Just remember to turn "always on fan-mode" on. That is a set-it and forget-it one-time operation. Should last you a while. Mine has been holding up since early 2016 so far ;-)
