say I really like the Lancia in group B for it's agility, is it pointless to try to tune other cars to make them similar in handling? Or is it just better to stick with something you already like and build from there?
I'll give your config a shot later.
Do you want a setup to try for the S4? Tell me what rally/stage and I'll see what I can come up with..
The quattro is front engined so its already compromised, its also big, heavy and boxy. It just has more power which can allow it to compete if well set up... but only on stages with fast sections that allow it to stretch its legs.
My Delta S4 setup for you to try here- https://steamcommunity.com/app/690790/discussions/0/1839063537805068371/
Guess the agile cars no matter what group works the best for me anyway.
Crazy how many changes you made. How long did it take you to get to that kind of level where you could tell that little difference between tunings?
edit:
I'll give the Delta one a try.
I used to compete in real life so I have a fairly good understanding about car setups.
I just drive whatever car a mile or so, change what needs changing, test and repeat setting by setting, go back and forth and keep tweaking until its how I like it. Maybe 30-40 mins or so, then try to beat the WR time for the stage. Took me about 10-12 attempts to get to 2.38 secs off the WR just now.
Thanks for sharing your setups anyways.
Yeah, great fun but also too expensive a sport to just be a hobby.
No worries, sorry for not having a pad..
Tested it in Australia and i will use it for every gravel stage now.
Much better to handle. My own setups were not as good as this one.
Understeering is a problem but its much better with that setup
I hope the OP is still alive after a year and a half ;-)
