F1 and rally are two different types of racing, their is no workshop support yet so thought id ask.
Locked diffs will make the car slide more but is good on dirt
Loss diffs good for on road
Stiff springs and shocks will bounce more on rough services
Soft springs is good for rough services but bad for smooth services
Roll bar stiff will make the car not roll
Roll bar soft will make the car roll
Gearing
4:1 is short
1:1 is long
This is just a simple overview of what these do
short gearing better for more technical stages i'm thinking?
-Brake Bias to the rear and lower brake power a notch or two.
-Max out final gear for top speed.
-Open diff(all sliders to the left) for front axle.
-Lock diff for rear axle except I have been putting brake lock to open(all the way to the left for less "drag" off throttle since rally cars are squirrely enough as it is.
-Stiffen the anti-roll bars to the max for front and back.
Works well in most cases....
If you have a G27, it's the top button on the shifter. If not, you can choose in the settings to
show on screen what button to press to navigate the menus.
Cheers :)
