Dirt Rally 2.0 Epic Stages
As we remember in Dirt Rally there were some amazing and epic routes. For example: Wales - Bidno Moorland, Greece Fourkéta Kourva, Germany Waldabstieg, Finland (!!!) with BIG JUMPS. I am just starting my adventure with Dirt Rally 2.0 and I will gladly check your favorite stages - have you found such epic stages as in Dirt Rally?

I've found Spain Centenera pretty exciting. Even though I have always disliked Tarmac, i find it much better in DR2. It still not a good as Germany though.
After few hours playing i can say for sure and for now Australia and New Zeland is amazing.

USA Hancock Hill is great in a RWD car. Can get lovely powerslides going.

Just started Poland in Clubman championship, fantastic stages, very fast. The sense of speed is even greater than DR1 and i'm only with a Ford Escort, with Group B its gonna be glorious...

Each country got great tracks imo, like in the first game handmade stages with irl portion.

Can't wait for Sweden and of course Monte-Carlo/Germany with the new tarmac physics wich for me is amazing, Don't forget to change tyres !

Poland is really exciting. Decent amount of jumps with some really narrow and fast stretches.
OK, after another hours played found good ffb settings, correct camera, graphics settings... THIS Game is AMAZING! My top list of EPIC stages(i will put here more when i will find them):
1. Poland - Jezioro Lukie OMG :)
2.
3.
Nice and epic stages(but still in my opinion more epic stages are in DR1)
1. Poland - Jezioro Lukie OMG :)
2. Australia - Noorinbee Ridge Ascent/Descent
3. Australia - Taylor Farm / Bondi Foresrt (reverse)
4. New Zeland - Elsthorpe

I think the problem is that DR1 had some of the most legendary real stages in the world, like Sweet Lamb, it's hard to top that. So far what I've seen (and I haven't driven them all) I like the stages in DR2 but would agree the stages in the original were more exciting.

I'll see if I still feel the same way in a week or so.

(I'm one of those weirdos that actually enjoyed the track generator in DiRT 4 and the Spanish stages, too.) It's good to see Spain do a comeback in this title, and the stages are excellent! But basicly all the stages are great fun to drive...

For me, the most unexpected delight of them all has been driving uphill in Argentina with the Lancia Fulvia and Citroën DS21. You just gotta find a groove, a rhythm, and work your way up there with a struggling engine. Excellent! :lunar2019coolpig:

USA - Tolt Valley Sprint is pretty epic.

and majloza just tried your Jezioro Lukie, very nice and fast!
Update after hours of playing:

1. Poland(!!!) - Jezioro Lukie, Kopina, Marynka/Borysik, Lejno
2. USA(!!) - Hankok Hill, Tolt Valley
3. Australia - Taylor Farm / Bondi Foresrt (reverse), Noorinbee Ridge Ascent/Descent

ps I'm big fun of thermac, and im still loking for good stage with thermac like in DR1 - Germany.

They were hand-crafted tracks from old Need for Speed games but, just bring in some fantasy tracks resembling Lost Canyons(3), Auvergne(5), Alps(5), Route Adonf(4), Celtic Ruins(4), Rocky Pass(3), Raceway 1-2-3(4), Zone Industrielle(5), Normandie(5), Snowy Ridge(4) and ALL is forgiven. :steamhappy:

Just let those RX monsters break free from their cages..... :dinos:

(4): NFS High Stakes

Couldn't agree more, easily the most challenging and satisfying location so far, and, I daresay, the only one that can be compared to the first DR in terms of EPIC INTENSITY, reminded me of Greece somehow.

My top:
1) Las Juntas
2) Hancock Hill
3) Gualet valley uphill
4) Zagórze
5) Ocean Beach sprint
