FPS problems
Hey,

I have massive FPS Problems.
I started on very high graphic settings, had like 10-30 FPS. now I´m on middle settings and have like 50-80 FPS. Is my PC really that bad?

I have OC8700K and GTX1080.

No, your PC is not that bad, you should get a lot more fps than that :)

Don´t know what to do now...

Take a look at this: https://www.game-debate.com/news/26623/dirt-rally-2-0-performance-breakdown-and-most-important-graphics-options

Go through your options and look for the heavy settings, if they are set too high.
I'm playing the game with a GTX 1080 too, everything on High, advanced blending off, MSAA 4x, TAA activated and advanced ambient off. Run's perfectly fine for me.

I putted the main graphic setting on very low, multisampling off, vsync off... had from 230-270fps...
running on 1080p with 144hz...
but this can´t be the solution...

Try turning crowd quality down as low as it will go - it seems densely populated crowds are really pulling the frames down.

I'm getting 55-75 fps on high settings with a GTX970 with crowd quality reduced.

Could be a wheel problem, maybe?

try to disconnect your wheel. I have the same problem. I don't know what to do

Nothing to do, got to wait for a fix from Codemasters ( if they can manage to fix it ) They didn't in Dirt 4.

Game needs huge optimization.

In fact I noticed some track GPU usage drops between 25% -40% (99%) which causes heavy fps drop and Stuttering and Cpu I3-8350K usage 10-30% :steamhappy:

Could it be something with the new Turing cards? Maybe wait for a nvidia driver update for DR2
