Report a translation problem
When audio cuts out, alt and tab out of the game.
1 - Right click the speaker icon in the Windows tasktray
2 - Click Sounds, Playback
3 - Take note which device is default (green tick)
4 - Right click another audio device and "Set as Default Device", for example Spdif-out.
5 - Change the default audio back to how it was in step 3
Alt and tab back into the game, audio should be back to normal

It's a weird one. I wonder if it could be because I have USB headphones (actually a USB playback/mic device, which then connects wirelessly to bluetooth headphones). I wasn't actually using them at the time when the sound cut out, I was using desktop stereo speakers connected to on-board audio. But the USB device was plugged in (just not set as default).
I think I saw someone mention having a USB audio device on another thread about the sound cutting out.
Is anyone else here with the sound cutting out also using a USB sound device? And when the sound cuts out, is that device your default(active) one, or an alternate (non-active) one?
