Sadly Codemasters can't see this scenario
brings back some nice memories from cmr2
I remember people asked for this during DR1 early access, but they couldn't make it. The most fun I had with CMR 2.0 was when I had a bunch of friends over to do some manually logged hot-seat rallies. I think hot-seat works really well with rallying.
People Today dont know that Kind of Gaming anymore.I remember the good old Colin McRae Rally 2 hot Seat Mode. This was such a Fun if you driving complete Championships with your Friends.Almost every Weekend we meet for playing that Mode.Good old Times.........👍😁
the same stage?
Then you gotta type times on paper. Especially if there's more than 2 people, you won't remember everyone's exact time, by the time last guy finishes
Would be far more convenient for the game to do the bookkeeping for you, and it's not even big effort from a developer.
Or, if you want to do a small championship with multiple friends, where damage mitigates into next stage, you have to do repairs if you broke your car etc.
They can't remember their own times? Or you can't write them on paper? Jesus gamers average IQs have really tanked the last few years.
That is a lot of time NOT spent on actual gameplay features for something you can easily do yourself. Under no circumstances should this idea even be considered.
