I for one quite enjoy the selection of R5's. While not wrc it feels more like ERC or APRC or many regional rallies. The Skoda R5 was key for that

For pikes peak, stay with dirt rally, and if you want the Dirt 4 or even the Dirt rally 2.0 physics, it's possible.

in fact i prefer Pikes peak for rFactor 2 or Automobilista, Project cars 2 is too arcadey !

PC 2 is very arcadey, I don't understand your comment. Maybe 25% of the cars drive anything close to realistically in PC2. The AI is trash too.

Hillclimb on a different Mountain maybe? there are so many alternatives. I hope they are considering it as a future DLC.

Gran Turismo paid for exclusive rights to it.

I'm OK with it, RX is already one more discipline than I personally would like the game to have, so I'm happy with more focus on rally.

GT isn't bad at all. Very good driving feel but to my knowledge there IS NO Pikes Peak on GT Sport.

Codemasters could still include Pikes Peak. They just can't use any branding associated with the real-life events that take place there (and possibly the name "Pikes Peak" itself when related to racing since that might be construed as part of the event branding's name).

It's a public road. The rights for the course itself can't be sold.

Whether they will or not is another matter, but they would be perfectly within their legal rights to make the course and call it something like "Colorado Mountain".
