Yes in option it as the option to reset the games.

Not having the ability to scrap the game you're playing and start a completely new game is terrible. Why on earth would they block us from doing that:riddle:

That isn't what he's asking for, That only resets specific parts not the complete game.

For DR1 its located in steam/userdata/ [ your id # ], you will find a folder ‘310560’ within is your main progression and wheel config save. Deleting that folder would allow the game to start new.

If its the same for this game, it would be folder '690790' .

Why not, his goal is for a full reset. When your local save does not match racenet, it will reset your racenet save too.

With DR1 you could rename or move that folder and return it when / if you wanted your old save back, You wont be able to do that with this ones racenet save.

Has anyone tried it:riddle:

I'd hate to get a strike for tampering if it's recognised as such.

there is an option to make a new user profile but you would be losing your current progress.

Hi, New user profile:riddle: Where is it:riddle:
In the profile section there's a reset progress & reset all option I tried both but they have no effect on staff members and staff research levels, they stay as they are no matter which reset option you choose making starting a completely new game impossible.

They don't want people farming credits by re-playing easy championships. This is why career mode requires online too, to regulate players from easy credit farming. You can make your own custom events/championships in freeplay which doesn't require a connection. In custom you can change the AI settings to your liking from easy to hard just remember that you don't earn credits in custom championships. :D Cheers.

I'm sure it's just me but what are the real benefits to 'farming' credits anyway other than the obvious use of credits?

Why should CM or anyone care how many credits we have?

I don't care if that's what your asking. It was a design choice CM made, probably to keep incentive to play daily/weeklys since they net a lot of credits as well in general it makes people play more to get more credits to spend on cars and upgrades. It also slows down maxing everything out to use competitively. My Peugeot 208 T16 R5 took nearly 2 mil in upgrades alone, not to mention I had to drive it for over 300 miles to unlock the upgrades to purchase, quite time consuming indeed and again, only 1 car lol

I don't mind it. At the end of the day, it's just more reason for me to keep playing since I have so many other cars on my wishlist to buy, drive, upgrade and race. I've noticed that every car I've purchased and upgraded that's in my garage feels like a little achievement in of itself. Maybe another reason they chose to do it this way lol

Least we have access to every car, stage and mode offline in freeplay. I've actually been doing quite a bit of freeplay lately, quite like it. Making my own custom championships and mastering stages in time trial is really fun. Anywho, like I said, I don't care how people play and I don't mind the design choice CM made for D2.0. Cheers!
