Tiers and difficulty levels - how do they work?
I have a question about tiers in daily/weekly/monthly challenges? How do they work? For a long time I thought top 10% results are Tier 1, 11-50% are Tier 2 etc. But now I am confused with my Monthly result. I am 134th in Group A Monthly challenge out of 4000 participants. It's top 3,3 % result. But I am about in the middle of Tier 2.

How many difficulty levels are in career mode? I am @ Masters level in rally cross career, how many levels are above it?

I think the tier's are determined by a fixed time and master is the last difficulty.

I have the same thing with the current monthly challenge, again Group A. I finished all races and now I am in 37th position of 1049 (filter is set to Global), which is top 3.5%. In the tier system I'm at the far right side of tier 2. Seems like the top tier for the monthly challenge is only ~1%? That would be pretty strict...

For the daily challenges el p1nko found out that the ranking is as follows:

In my experience this is accurate for the daily. The monthly seems totally different, though.

Why does anyone even bother doing the dailies? They're a money loser in my experience so far. Take today's challenge: I get plopped into a Group B car I've never driven, immediately have to spend over 4000 Cr to get it repaired, take it several shakedowns before the race and get it repaired after that which cost nearly 5000 Cr, finished in the upper 25% of the field and made a whopping 3000 Cr. If you need to set a world record in order to make a profit, why does the average player bother with it? Serious question btw; I'd love to get a better handle on making money at this game.

I think it's all about experience with each car and rally. You may lose money at the start but it all comes good in the end but only if we are gaining and learning along the way. Once all your cars are upgraded then that is where it starts to pay.

It's a long-term effort not a short term gain.

I'd skip the shakedowns tbh, not really worth it unless you're very serious.

But you should be getting more credits than that, the game hands out credits twice - once right after the race, this is a very low amount. Then the next day, you get the rest. This is is the real reward, typically 20-40k.

Apparently there's a bug right now where the real reward isn't triggering. I expect you'll get your credits once it's fixed.

Yep, except for the ai challenges, there you get your total reward after the event.

Currently 20th worldwide in a monthly challenge yet somehow only tier 2?? I really wish they had some explanation as to what the tiers actually are.

Your time is not fast enough. It seems place is not counting but time.
The challenge is not over. You wont stay at 20th .

You don't get the entire payout until the day ends to determine which tier you landed in. You may get say 3000 at the time and then another 30 000 or more(depending on your time) the next day when everyone's time is calculated.
