...this is yet another "feature" that Codies have failed to explain because they presume everybody buying DR2 also bought DR1 previously.
In DR1, it was meant to simulate the old classified ads in newspapers where you had to keep going back and checking to see if there was something put onto the market you wanted to buy. if I recall, this was not explained in DR1 itself either, but a feedback post while DR1 was still in early access.
But without any explanation, the system simply looks "broken"... and without other aspects of career immersion (custom liveries, custom team, custom vehicle add-ons) then it just looks like sh*t implementation yet again.
Unless Codies decide to pull the finger out and either take immersion seriously or fix the nonsensical immersive aspects so they actually start making sense, then they leave people like me - supporters of the game - with no way of defending them because it makes criticism of the game very valid.
Drive it, love it. We do not have SAAB 96 yet, but this car shows old cars can be SO GOOD to drive in rally games too. The more historic cars, the better...
