I do not know how you want to know which FFB effects I want, but if the Accuforce gives you these even if they are not real from the game, you've made the right decision. Congratulations.
Have You tried the "device driver" option?
In my TS-PC racer that option changed the world...
the accuforce uses the data telemetry for the FFB, and all the effects you need or want are presents. For the price it's clear that it's a superior product to the ts pc racer, for example. But the ts pc racer is a very good wheel....but for the moment if you want the "tyre slip" effect, you have to use the accuforce....
I miss the effects that you generally feel on a steering wheel and especially needed on the PC when the other real feeling parameters are missing because you not really in the vehicle. Specifically the grip level and this goes Dirt Rally or show other racing games.
But Dirt Rally 2.0 can not tell us that, because they tell us something in our opinion, so we think we drive and control the car, but it's an illusion, this is generally in simulations, but here I find it too obvious. Thus, in my opinion, there is no usable data that can represent a realistic FFB.
i had respect for your opinion and you just lost it!

you don't know what you are talking about dude....TELEMETRY
OK grip level, true, I hate that, but it is really not present, what else?
BTW IMHO first sentence is not true, I feel all the forces that are on the real steering wheel...
Simple fact !
I used the Dirtfish place yesterday for... again testing some different settings for FFB and the result is cruel and sad, the "feelings" still bad.
Without any exaggeration, "Dirt 3" got a better feeling and... tyre slip with suspension alive.
By the way, It’s a total aberration to eventually buy an Accuforce just for ONE GAME which is bad born and sadly far, in terms of FFB, from the actual standards.
Cheers. ;-)
Maybe Codemasters will add the famous 'tyre slip" effect one day....For me It's not at all bad without, it's the best rally game.
And buy a motion rig (5DOFs), you will feel much more the car than with a simple chair.....the mass transfert is awesome in a motion rig and is the most important effect in a real car, you cry about the lack of some stupids vibrations in your wheel......but you forget you have so many other parameters to gives you a pure feeling....
