Help! Can not verify Codemasters account

I wanted to register to racenet and created an account with my steam account, I'm able to login but when I want to verify the account with the link in the mail, the website says "the verification failed". I can not get a new verification mail and when I try to login with my email-adress it says "This E-mail is connected with facebook" and it's not. And I don't want to connect with facebook either. And deleting the account is not an option, because then I have to wait 30 days until it really gets deleted.
What kind of mess is this?! It can't be such difficult to setup a functional login..

Did you reported your sad situation to Codemasters before posting here !?

Not trying to be crass but it would be best to check with the codemasters official forums. I believe our resident steam codies representative was harassed so much she quit and they are settling in a new fellow in her spot.
