stuck in replay

after pressing R stuck in replay after one of the levels.
i can rewind forward backwards but escape key doesn't work.
also i dont want to restart the whole game

Can you show us a video of the issue? Also, what happens if you leave the game (like, the whole program, force shut MCD) and load it again?
Does it happen often or was it a one-off?

Today I had the same issue.
I tried to upload the repeat of phase 14/15 of 8D and the level never completed the proccessing. It was garage level.
I could rewind forward and backwards, and the photo mode could swich on and off, like the video, but escape button didn't work, and I forced alt+f4. to finish the loop.

Same thing happens with me. Every time I try to upload my replay, I stuck. Esc doesn't work and clip doesn't upload. After alt+F4 game works fine until my another try to save a replay.
I play on PC, Windows 10
