I get that the developers want the player to be focused and intense during the game, which is why I assume they didn't include any music. But I'm kinda A.D.D so I'm having a hard time staying commited long enough to get through some of the more difficult runs.
SO, I though that maybe if I played some music over the musicless game that would help a bit.
Then I came across a problem.
This game is pretty hard to find music for. It's weird, it is slow and methodical, but at the same time is increadibly violent and action packed, it's like a thematic oxymoron. Plus it's got this weird 80s computer abstract shapes vibe. What music fits that?

I have found a few songs, but not a lot.

So, let's put music that pairs well with the game in this thread. Include links and names.

Of cource the Hotline Miami soundtracks were the first place I checked, quite a few of the songs fit, but most are just too fast paced. If the music is too fast then the player might get too reckless, need keep the heart rate at a walking pace. Calm music that still keeps the tension high.

Specifically "imps song". The swing it has works well with the brief pauses between short bursts of carnage.

You're totaly right, it does have a really interesting effect. I wasen't expecting that.

this game is really hard to find music for because its too slow for fast music but calming music doesn't fit it either, but i do have over 150 songs in my mp3. this might take a while

I've tested your music, Mr. not gay but a dollar is a dollar, and sence you've asked for ratings, here they are.

I'm not sure about Favored Nations, but to be honest that's mostly just personal preference. It's beats per minute seem good so if your into that kinda thing it's alright. I give it a final rating of 5 out of 10.

When I listen to Flan it just reminds me of VSauce. I give it a final rating of two and a half stars.

Dr. Gaster is a good song, and it's pace is right, and it's styling and tone seems right, but the mood is a little too silly and happy in my opinion. I'm not sure if it really fits SUPERHOT, but maybe other people look at the game differently than I do. I give it a final rating of four and a half annoying dogs.

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger is nice. It fits well. 800 out of 1,000.

Kangaroo Court Karaoke 35 fits well and the lyrics have the perfect tone, you're right. I give it a final rating of nine out of ten, would bang.

considering that the game has a very constant pace with no real downtime, how there are diffrent playstyles for different kinds of players and how it combines both puzzle and action elements make it really hard to find a suitable song, so ill just post everything that seems fitting and you can make a more refined playlist yourself

Yeah, those fit it general vibe. Though none of them jump out at me as being particularly good. But they do fit perfictly.
