There is no data to display, you would just have black bars on the sides or a warped/stretched image not displaying the correct shapes
Note the tiny text though.
This might be it: https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Hitman:_Codename_47#Widescreen_resolution
Two different things to try.
There is no single solution for all games, check that wiki and it should tell you per game.
Thanks for the great reply, it was exactly what I needed too!
You made my day
2) Local Disk (C:)
3) Program Files (x86)
4) Steam
5) steamapps
6) common
7) Hitman Codename 47
8) hitman (configuration file)
9) Change resolution to 1920 x 1080
10) Enjoy
Unable to find a suitable display mode for true color. Try 16-bit colors. So.... what now?
What resolution are you trying to use?
And so I tried to put colordepth to 16, but then it says: try 32-bit colors. Like wtf XD
Oh, on the configuration launch for Hitman it should let you select a couple of options for colors. However, this didn't happen to me so I'm not sure why it's happening to you. Hope this helps. :/
Check all that out. I used the hor+ alternative with dgvoodoo so you can play in 1080p and still make the hud fit the screen with a lower internal resolution.
