Game crashing after first level completion

i tried putting it in window mode and having the audio all off while playing the first mission, seems to have worked but id otn know if it will keep working, will keep you posted

Well one thing is for certain, if I can't have audio in Hitman I'm not having Hitman at all.

It's kind of a bummer to lower the resolution just to play the game without crashing. i'll test out the resolution and see if that works out for me.

My game kept crashing after the first mission too. Solved the problem by right clicking the game name > properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache. There was some file missing. The missing file was downloaded and then the game worked properly.

This was the first thing I tried, it found a file but it didn't solve anything.

I got past the first mission. I was able to do the third one(counting the hideout) and it crashed during the newspaper part again. It seems to me like everytime i zoomed in a read the paper that's where it crashes for me. It's a shame since it's one of my most favorite features in this franchise.

It's exactly the same for me :/ And like you, I'm so disapointed cause I really love read the newspaper of accomplished missions ! It's seems to be different in each rating ou get :) But when I zoom, game crash, when I don't he continue

EDIT : Maybe if I put the zoom at the minimum before press enter for continue, that can work... I'll check that !

Try spamming "Enter" after walking through the door (which would normally bring up the newspaper).

Figured it out y'all! Go to this website http://www.hitmansavegames.com/savegames/Hitman_Blood_Money or just google Hitman Blood Money save games and download the second one "A Vintage Year" then follow the steps as instructed on the page, it should sort the problem right out. It skips the tutorial mission and allows you to do this cuban drug one. So far I've finished this mission and I'm progressing through the other missions now :) (There was also a bug on this mission where I couldn't escape down the side of the mountain but you just have to enable Vsync)

for those using xfi cards, the game crashes on curtains down if you have Eax set on alchemy

same problem, and also too tired of replaying the same thing too try anything else than a clear patch from the devs
