Pushing down stairs (A New Life)

Is there any way I can guarantee pushing down the stairs will be a kill? I've only been able to do it once in 10 tries (and was unfortunately caught that time).
Or another way to kill the target through an accident, that works too.

You might be able to rig a bomb to the grill. But that is one level I always go full postal on. Sniping everyone in the backyard is too fun. I finesse the jogger, garbage guys, and plant lady though. It's hilarious how more targets show-up to investigate the bodies.

Just for hahas I tried doing the level in more of a "correct" way. I killed the guys in the van and used the phone to call the father target to the room with the window. Surprisingly, I was able to shoot him right thru the window without being seen. Then I went thru the left entrance & kitchen to the indoor pool and killed the girl/got the necklace. Only had to kill two guards inside the house, so my best ever score.

On normal and professional, I try to get silent assassin and do the best I can. On beginner and hard I try to strangle and steal the guns of all the guards and then go postal. The Christmas and Vegas maps are the best for strangling one guard after another in front of everyone. The White House level-who hasn't put a bomb in that woman's bag?

^ amazingly, I only tried that about a week ago. Seems to create so much confusion that you can walk right thru the detector with weapons. Normally I wait till everyone went inside and I kill the two marines and drag them out of view of the door and then just waltz in as a marine. Long as you move quickly, it works. Then I shoot the VP in the courtyard after walking thru the 2nd floor. Finally I shoot one secret service guy to get in the West Wing and then place a bomb at the door of the security office to create a distraction. Seems to work very well.

I finally managed the mission and forgot about this.
Thanks, but I wasn't asking how to beat the mission. It's easy to just snipe through the window or go in guns blazing. I was asking how to get Silent Assassin (accidents only, no non-target kills) without the stair kill, or make the stair kill actually succeed more than 1/10 times.

I set a bomb where the target's phone is and I called it from inside the van and blew it up when he picked up.

I've read that if you put the bomb in the toolbox in The Curtain Falls that the game doesn't hold it against you.

Yeah except I have two seperate save games one of them for extreme violence.
