This game was made before gamers got inherently stupid (aka, before the CoD generation came to be). They expected gamers not to need their hand held through everything. Those were the days. When gamers brains weren't the size of peanuts.
Found it to be uninstructive.
I ended up just shotgunning everyone to death (i assume this was not intended)
except for the guards i was instructed to snipe, and secretary/target, or the people in the last room where you drop the thingie on them.
Also, controls are unintuitive and movement clunky.
Inventory is right click, throw is Hold G.
Good luck. Once you actually understand how the game works, its actually pretty damn fantastic.
The port didn't do a good job with the tutorial button callouts, but that is such a small part of the game. Really it is annoying for maybe a minute before you can figure it out or look at the controls. That doesn't make the game bad as it is extremely outweighed by everything else.
As for the coin, as people pointed out it should be obvious, but I'll give you that as another iffy part of the tutorial. I myself couldn't figure out the "right way". Instead I used my head and made up my own solution, something that you want to be capable of while playing hitman. I thought about the tools and setup, made my own plan and executed (huehuehue) it with great results. One of the highlights of the game is the way they let you do it your own way instead of being stuck with the "right" solutions.
