1st mission: Game says push guard over rail. I do that but the objective never updates

grabbed syringe, shot him instead. dragged him and tossed him over the rail, Picture in Picture kicks in and shows him drop.

Objective never changes. Dragged him back up, tossed him over again. Objective still stuck.

Ideas? This game plays really clunky btw.

Anyway, it doesn't even matter. You can't save the game and quit, you have to complete the mission, which I didn't so I would need to start over. I may just not play this one. All that work is gone now.
