Can't complete the first mission, bugs and crash

So I decided to purchase Blood Money since it was less than $2 on the summer sale. I progressed through the training level to the first target and triggered a cutscene. The audio for the old man begging for his life played, then 47's dialogue began playing over the target's dialogue. Then they both repeated the same dialogue simultaneously while the screen hung on 47's face. After a moment the target started begging for his life while the screen was still frozen and none of my controls would do anything. Is there a fix for this bug? Is the whole game like this?

Wait, can this issue be resolved if I run the game in compatability mode? I didn't think of that.

Try to lunch game in compatibility mode! Maybe work (What version of windows are you running on youre computer?)

My issue seems to be solved if I set the game to run on Compatibility Mode Windows Vista. To run the game on this setting you want to find the game's directory, usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common. Locate the game folder and open it. Right click the executable file that launches the game and click properties. Click the Compatibility tab and the rest should be common sense from there. Check the box to run in Compatibility Mode. Click the drop down menu and select Windows Vista. Game should run fine after that, but make sure you click Apply or OK after you apply the changes.

thanks for the fast reply. Here's the problem, I had already tried this, and when it happens it fails. It gives a message like so: "Fail to find Steam"
