However, they didn't make a Mac release, unfortunately.
Ok now I will explain how to install windows.
IF YOU ARE USING A APPLE CHIP LIKE THE M1 DO NOT FOLLOW THIS TUTORIAL BUT RATHER SEARCH HOW TO INSTALL PARRALEL ON MACBOOK M1 CHIP (it should work if you use m1 max or something like that) SADLY THERE WILL BE LOWER FRAMERATE BEACUSE IT IS EMULATION.
1. Download a windows iso does not mate 7,8,10 but I would rather choose 8 or 10 because 7 is not downloadable on microsoft's website
2. Use bootcamp-assistant
3. Select all 3 options ( one for the iso and the second is for the drivers to work fine, you do need a USB minimum 8gb)
4. Choose how large partition (I can not say it for you because I don't know if you will use macOS more or Windows)
5. Let it do it's magic (hopefully)
6. Reboot your Mac and hold alt key (either plug in your USB or just let it stay in your USB port)
7. Search on youtube how to install windows from USB (some Macs needs a keyboard and mouse USB not wireless as the drivers are not yet installed)
8. After you installed windows (plug in your USB or just let it stay there) then choose Bootcamp drivers support (or something like that) then click bootcamp, then you click on setup.exe and follow everything from there.
9. Enjoy windows on your Mac! (if you run into any problems like audio not working, search how to fix audio (the problem that keeps happening or how to install legacy patcher (I do not know if legacy patcher will work on your Mac! so make a time machine)
Hopefully that helped! If your running into problems search on the internet and for the people who was acting like ♥♥♥♥'s piss of with that attitude and be kind not like a ♥♥♥♥.
May you have a blessed day fellow Mac user! :)
Edit: oh and your machine will probably run it and last longer than the windows computer the haters are using.
Edit: for the haters that are reading this why are you reading this? oh and here is a tip keep curtain opinions to yourself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsMJeghxWnQ
I also have a 2011 mac pro that runs this game perfectly. But I don’t install Windows. I installed the Windows version of Steam using wine and ran directly on Mac OS that way. You might be able to run the game with wine with the Mac version of Steam too I don’t know.
Now I run this game using Proton on Linux on the same computer. It’s super easy. The point is: you don’t need to install Windows to run this game.
