Can't create profile
Anyone has found any other solutions for that exact same issue (profile save failed). Weird thing is that on my previous computer which was also a windows 10, it worked fine, but on my current new computer which is better than my previous can't create a profile with Hitman BM. I tried without antivirus, copied steam.dll file, reinstalled in C: and D: , launched as an administrator, turned off the Controlled folder access, added exclusions...but still the game cant create a new profile..any advices?

Looks like you have tried practically everything already but it does sound like a permissions issue. Have you tried manually creating an empty profiles folder if you go into your user/*/documents/Hitman Blood Money directory via File Explorer ?

So when you check the properties of the Hitman Blood Money folder and look at the security tab, does it have all the basic permissions boxes in the Allow column ticked for system, your computer name and administrators ?

I actually solved the problem, it was very silly what i did but somehow it worked. I removed the HBM file from steam and put it on C, then i opened the game and exited it. After that i re-put the HBM in the steamapps file and it woked. I know this is very silly and stupid, but it worked now and i can create a profile, finally!

Actually, this is my first post about HBM hehe, but i have been trying for almost a week and it finally worked. Thanks anyways!

Ah ok. I can now see that the post I saw was written by member Tchoubite last June but what threw me is that you copied his post almost word for word (including the spelling mistake) which is why I thought it was yours. No worries.

If someone still has this problem I write here the only way to fix it. After I did all the things i found in the intenet it still wasnt working. I found one video on You Tube. You have to just create a new user on your computer (so i guess it was Windows 10 causing this problem), which is not an administrator and launch a game there. It works with all games from steam. Try this!
