Crash on Mac OSX?

Just bought this game today, my Macbook meets the minimum system requirements. However, every time I launch, the startup screen comes up but then immediately disappears/closes. At that point steam doesn't even show me in game. I tried adjusting the resolution on startup, but that didn't do anything. Is/has anyone else had the same issue? I've never had this happen before.



Edit: I have tried updating the steam client, uninstalling/reinstalling the game, and restarting steam and my computer, nothing has worked. The original bridge constructor works, just not portal.

I am having the same issue... Don't know why this is happening. I'll let you know if I figure anything out.

Odd, I'm playing on a Mac and never had any issues. Have you tried verifying the files yet? Run all updates for OS X?

Does your Macbook meet the minimum or is it above it?
