How much has been censored?
Bad experience with ghostlight releases. Is this going to be one where they do not ruin the game by changing everything that they didn't like personally?

I've had this on my "might buy for PS4" list for a while, and I think at least that was uncensored.

Censorship can also include camera angle restrictions and translation choices. But I usually settle for asking for art, as that is the obvious thing and most publishers probably wouldn't even remember if they changed the events from something to something else to make it more neutral.

I guess the real question would be how censored is the PS4 western release vs. the Japanese original, then...

I'm pretty sure this released when IFI pledged that they won't localise a game that needs to be altered to legally release in the west, but don't quote me on that

Very, very uncensored, is my guess. The game has fanservice a-plenty. It makes an actual game mechanic out of having your outfits busted up and fighting in your underwear, for crying out loud.

It's also genre-savvy to the point that the girls actively scold you when you try to put the camera in a panty-shot viewpoint; they will cover themselves up, turn to face the camera and will comment to the player that "Nooo--- you shouldn't do dirty things..."

Play with the japanese voice work and you'll find the tone of those lines over-abundantly squimish in the five-seconds-until-nonconsesual-actions-commence manner.

On other notes: One of the side-characters' shtick for most of the game is being a physically abusive drunkard. And one of the playable characters is a gun-nut. Or rather just a military hardware nut in general. (One of her backstory parts has people who question how a minor like that has access to hardware like that, 'mysteriously disappear'. And one of the first things she does is booby-trap her room ... iirc. with landmines.)

So this game is censored!
If the Japanese version shows the same thing, then it’s not censored.

Could still be censored, with possibility of an uncensored version. Typical example, mosaic.

But I understand what you mean in general. As no censorship is usually the same as getting the Japanese game with another language.

Then both the Japanese version and this version are censored.
It would only be censored if the game actually had any nudity in that scene. But logic dictates that, if the original ♥♥♥ release had a pic with god rays, then that was how it was originally drawn.
Like many anime fanservice scenes, there is no real nudity, just lots of steam and god rays. Especially for the lower naughty bits.

How do you know it’s censored? The publisher even stated this game is not censored.
The “censorship” you guys are talking is not censorship. The original work is that. Period.
Nothing was censored until it’s proven the Japanese version is different from this.

For those who still think the Japanese version is also censored, no it doesn’t work like that. It’s a original work without modifications. If you wanted nipples to be shown then the game wouldn’t exist because that’s prohibited in PlayStation/Nintendo/Any console.

There may be “mods” for PC, but it’s not a decensor, it’s a modification above the original to show something it wasn’t supposed to exist.

They aren't wrong, so its kind shows your own stupidity in using a facepalm against it.

The word censorship is in Wikipedia explained as:
Censorship is the suppression of speech, public communication, or other information, on the basis that such material is considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, politically incorrect or "inconvenient" as determined by government authorities or by community consensus.

Which means that the original scene was censored from the very beginning.
And it has nothing to do with differences between the original version an other versions.
You are mistaken.
Original content is not censored.
You are taking a random definition and using it in the wrong way.

Read the word “suppression” again, nothing is being “suppressed” here.
This is not a 18+ manga being “suppressed” to video game standards.

I took the question the original poster asked to be asking if we had removed/censored anything from the Idea Factory International release, the answer to which is no.

If you're asking if the original Japanese release was censored because of the scene you mention, that's really something that can't be answered without some insight into the thoughts of the original Japanese developer, and what their actual intention was with that scene.
>_> I just wanna make an Update, there is a Crazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ going around Flagging any of the ingame Content when you upload the Screenshots. (Particularly any of the CG even if you put a Spoiler Tag)
I had to contact Customer Support to Unflag me.

Not sure what you mean by ''flagging''?
