Basically, even a solid PC like yours can get bogged down if the game engine struggles with certain areas.
A quick fix to try would be lowering the draw distance even more if possible or, if the game allows, reducing the object density. You could also check if there are community patches or mods, as sometimes other players create fixes for these exact kinds of issues. I haven't checked if this is possible in settings.
I have tried to set all the adjustable image quality options in the game options to the lowest, but as soon as I go to the villas in area A, B, and C, the FPS will drop to 20-30, sometimes only a pitiful 18......... Especially when facing a certain direction, for example, when I just enter the villa wall of area A and face the villa, the FPS is only 18-19...
I also want to reduce the drawing distance, but I can't find a way to reduce the drawing distance in the game options. Do I need to add something to the INI file?
Try adding or adjusting these lines in the INI file (usually found in the game's configuration folder, often under AppData or the game’s directory):
[SystemSettings]
r.ViewDistanceScale=0.5 ; Set between 0.1 (low) to 1.0 (high)
r.LODDistanceFactor=0.5 ; Lowering this can help with object detail at distance
Thank you very much.
Is it added to "GameUserSettings.INI"?or "Engine.INI"?
Thank you, it works now. I added it to Engine.ini, re-entered the game and went to the villa in area A. The FPS in the same location can now reach 40. Thank you very much.
I would also like to ask if there is any way to remove the grass on the ground. I suspect that the frame rate of the villa in area A is reduced because there is too much grass. I have already set the vegetation to 0 in the ini, but it doesn't help.
Great. No worries.
No, I think if its set to 0, you cant remove it.
Finally... the problem was solved... It was really a problem with the new version of grass... Later I tried many methods... Finally... I was able to right click the game in library > go to Properties > then under Betas there should be an option to click on original visuals.... After restoring the original visuals, I also set all the graphic effects to the highest. Now I have reached the villas in areas A, B, and C. There is no frame drop...so happy
